2007-04-25 [NinjaK]: Rule #6 was instituted because people were taking their ages out of their houses to participate in the FAKE awards, which tied our hands together in regards to punishing them. We're the ones who are supposed to be enforcing the rules, and we cant do that very well when people find loopholes. This closes that loophole.
2007-04-25 [DRACE]: you hope it does, but funny thing is you can download the surtain info off the net and make a fake one and you would be none the wiser
2007-04-25 [Kwee]: I already have those templates, and was going to make a fake ID out of spite, but then decided against it.
2007-04-25 [NinjaK]: This site is CALLED FAKE. I dont care if someone steals art or photos and calls them their own, or calls them themself. What I care about is Henrik or I going down with Interpol or the FBI because there was even the appearance of childporn on this website.
2007-04-25 [DRACE]: heh, meh oh wells, we just have an 18plus card over here, for those who don't have a lisence like me ~_~
2007-04-25 [Kwee]: Oh be reasonable now, Kateh. Consider photobucket, of all the thousands of millions of accounts that are on there, how many of them would be pre-pubescent jail-baiters with their doodle-parts hanging out for the world to see? And as soon as photobucket can, they erase the images, which is the same thing we do, and the FBI, or equivalent, isn't going after them, because they're doing the best that they can so that their system isn't abused. We're doing the best we can too.
2007-04-25 [Echo]: Hmm, as well as all the other porn sites that kids can easily sneak into. We're doing our best, the rules need to be a bit more strict and we need to have less tolerance for rules breakers, but still...in the process we need to relax ^.^
2007-04-26 [NinjaK]: Except that I have already had to deal with the FBI once, Jonneh. Now that I'm married into the US military, I sure as hell don't need any other infractions with my name attached.
2007-04-26 [Echo]: I don't think it would get to that point.
If people are that hell bent on breaking our rules and policies is it really our fault?
2007-04-27 [NinjaK]: It can be if we don't enforce our rules.
2007-05-16 [Echo]: ah, glad we cleared up that one rule about the copyrighted images...now if only we could show an example. Would it be possible to link to the original artists main online gallery?
2007-05-16 [NinjaK]: Aye, one moment please.

http://kris-wi
These are two artists who have told me definently that they do NOT want their art redistributed, under ANY circumstances.
2007-06-05 [gonemissing]: the diference is photobucket actually doesn't allow any porn. Trust me my acount was canceled after they found my naughty pictures...
e. Post, upload, email, or otherwise transmit, via the Site or Services, any Content that is unlawful, obscene, harmful, threatening, harassing, defamatory, or hateful, or that contains objects or symbols of hate, invades the privacy of any third party, contains nudity or pornography (including without limitation any child pornography or child erotica), is deceptive, threatening, abusive, inciting to unlawful action, defamatory, libelous, vulgar or violent, or constitutes hate speech, or is otherwise objectionable in the opinion of Photobucket;
2007-06-05 [Lady Di]: correction...t
2007-06-05 [Kwee]: Which reminds me "http://www.ex
2007-06-05 [DRACE]: they don't want you to redistribute it as in putting your own name on it and getting payed
2007-06-05 [Kwee]: I don't know of anyone that does that though?
2007-06-05 [Echo]: There are a few people here and there who are probably stupid enough to try it...
2007-06-05 [Kwee]: But the point I'm trying to understand is, are we to erase the pictures if found, even though it states, and encourages that it's okay to do so elsewhere?
2007-06-05 [Echo]: it's our policy, other places can do it if they want. I mean do you really want that stuff here?
