Absolution...

            sometimes,you do things you regret..

sometimes you do things you refuse to admit

              sometimes,you do something so bad,
                          that you lay awake at night,afraid to sleep.
        afraid...
                 of the memories that chase you in your dreams..

 
             there are days that you look behind you,

to see if the memories have caught up,

                to make sure the skeletons...
                            are safely tucked away inside the closet

       to make sure Justice...

           is not reaching out to grab your arm...

                   then there's the days in-between..

                the ones where you hide in the sunlight,

         when you look up to Heaven...
                                  and wonder...
                     if....
