I Remember (this one was published and I got an Editors award for it)

I remember when you used to hold me
As if you would never let me go
And you tell me you love me
As if it were really true.

Yes.
I remember when you used to kiss me
So soft, yet so firm
Then you's look into my eyes
So full of want and yearn.

We use to dance
As the rain feel upon us
And you'd kiss me again
A mixture of love and lust.

I remember..
I remember our love in general
As we lay together
We dreamed of a home
And our children that would go far.

It saddens me to know they are just sweet memories.
Sweet memories that are long gone.
But I really, really wish
I didn't remember our song.

I hate memories.
They bring me deep sorrow.
And I hate that fact that you will return..
tomorrow.

Poetry Pill

I took my poetry pill this morning
In a daze I wrote 7
I took another this afternoon
In a rush I wrote 11

A dizzy wonderland of black and pink
A couple more and I wont have to think

Little blue poetry pill
Sernade me with the sound of my pain
Take away my ill
My pill, my own little friend

Make me jittery
And far up in the sky
Help me see
That my life isn't a lie

Little blue poetry pill
Made of sugar and happiness
Take away my pain
Keep me mellow and sane

I took my poetry pill this morning
It feels good, so true
Ill take more too.
So I could write more poems for you.
