Well, I'm going out on a limb here and writing about a dream I had about a month ago or so. Nightmare, actually, and it actually woke me up and brought me to tears. I was that scared. Hadn't had that happen since I was a tot... Anyway, this was the dream.
I was in my room from a house I lived in when I was six. I was in my bed, and there were my stuffed animals all around the bed where I'd kicked them off to make room for me. The room was dark, but not dark enough where you couldn't see anything. My dresser by the door. My closet. In the little book rack next to the bed. All could be seen.
Well, I'm laying there, trying to sleep in my dream, when I hear this noise. A soft scuttling sound, like large beetles trying crawl on wood. Well, I lift up my head, and I see this little things crawling around my room. Hundreds of them. They were about a few inches tall, and they looked to be made of sticks bound with twine and stuffed with dirt. Two sticks for the arms and legs, the joint where they met, and six for the chest, Bound like a triangle to hold the dirt. The head...The head was like that of Pyramid Head from Silent Hill. Except it was made from sticks instead of bolted metal. And their hands? Five needles for fingers. Five glinting needles, on each hand.
And what were these things doing in my room, crawling, skittering across my floor? They were taking the eyes of my toys. They were crawling over every stuffed animal, every toy soldier, every toy that had a face and eyes, and plunged those needles into them and ripped out the eyes.
Well, as a child would, I hid under the covers, terrified beyond words. I never even thought to call for a parent. And so I lay under the covers, shivering violently, horrified by what I had seen. But then it grew quiet. Not a sound. I peeked out from under the covers, and looked at the floor. There was nothing there. Just the torn bodies of my toys, rent open and left in pieces on the floor. Stuffing and plastic parts lay everywhere. I examined my room watching for even the most minute amount of movement, but it was silent.
And as I sat back in my bed, letting out a breath of relief, I looked forward. It sat on my knee, perched like a gargoyle over a cathedral. It had no eyes, no recognizable features whatsoever, but I knew it was watching me. Staring at me. It didn't move, and I was petrified with fear. It continued to stare at me in silence, examining me. I knew it was looking at my eyes.
As I struggled to regain my breath, the thing slid down my knee on the covers and slowly, dear god so slowly it walked up my chest, it's needle fingers clicking together excitedly. It's gaze, from what I could imagine, never wavered from my face, from my eyes. It's gaze bored into mine, it's gaze without eyes as it loomed over me. It's shoulders hunched, it's arms raised, those needles glinting in the weak light coming from my window. And then they thrust, straight for my eyes.
And I woke up.

Random thought spawned by a commercial saying "Gangland":
'Gang land! A land of gangs! A land of violence, of hardship. A hierarchy of muscle and steel and blood in a world cast beneath a crimson sky laden with the black, smoky clouds of a destroyed civilization.'
End random thought.
Phrase of the day:
"I'm getting the feeling that this is going to be my fault somehow..."
Nintendo sued the shit out of PETA for this little 'Unauthorized edition' of their game. I loved how they said that turkeys have different personalities.

Once upon a time five of the farmers in Heddal agreed upon building a church in the vally. One of them, named Raud Rygi, one day ran into a stranger who promised to build the church for them. But on one condition ; When the church was finished, Raud had either to bring him the sun and the moon, the blood of his heart or guess the strangers name. Raud thought it would bee more than enough time to discover the man's name, and so he made the deal.
But alas, he didn't get very much time. During the first night all the timber was in place, the second night the tower was raised, and the third day the church would be finished. Fearing for his life, Raud strolled along his fields desperately wondering how to guess the strangers name. Then he heard the most beautiful song coming from inside the nearby mountain :
"Hush, hush, little baby do -
tomorrow father, Finn, will bring to you,
moon and sun and Christian heart
as toy for you, so nice and smart".
The riddle was solved ! The builder was the "troll" Finn, who lived in the nearby mountain. That's how Raud saved his life and Heddal got its church. But the troll couldn't stand the sound of the churchbells every Sunday, and therefore moved with all his family to another mountain.
Comment to picture I found: 'She seems like one of those girls where you go over to her house and she pulls this raggity-ass book out from under her bed and she's like "I never let anyone read my poetry but you can read it all!" and you're all flippin through the scary pages all like "wow, looks like you get dumped a lot..." '
I don't know why, but that just made me laugh.
He Waits Behind The Wall, in a palace of tortured glass, served by legions forged from the tears of the sleepless dead and clad in armor carved from the suffering of mothers. In his right hand he holds a dead star, and in his left hand he holds the Candle Whose Light Is Shadow. His left hand is stained with the blood of Am Dhaegar. He sings the song that ends the earth. The hive-mind that confounds the living, and perpetuates the torture of the damned. He takes the eyes, the window of the soul, removes the ability to feel...anythin

If it's any consolation, when I killed your family, I didn't give them a chance to scream.
If they are not meant to be my slaves, what purpose do they have?
Despairs only purpose is to be vanquished.
That guy at the top of the fucking mountain? He didn't fucking fall there.
Climb the highest mountain. Punch the face of God.
You shoot me in a dream, you better fucking wake up and apologize.
