Many people as of late have been asking me why I do the things I do, and I will tell you why...
I live life the way I do because I feel that everyone should be able to follow their heart and their soul, not what society tells them is acceptable. In our society, there is a system of groups. Now whether you want to accept this fact is completely up to you, I'm not trying to persuade, just inform. In society, there are groups, such as Jocks, Preps, Scholars, etc. that all fit into a specific mold, but where do so-called "outcasts" fit in to this mold? It's simple, they don't.
A perfect example of this is our education system. All throughout most of our lives, we have been preached to about standing out from the crowd, and being different from everyone else. The thing I find absolutely hilarious about this fact is that if we do follow those teachings, and do set ourselves aside from everyone else, then that is when we become the so-called outcasts. If we truly seek to set ourselves apart from the rest of our species and speak up for our beleifs it is then that we are shut down and silenced. The whole concept of what a school is currently is completely absurd. It has basically become an institute to brain-wash the youth and only teach them what is acceptable, but once we try to find out things that are not acceptable and try to express ourselves in unnacceptable ways, it is then that we are shunned.
We are the ones who realize that we want to be more than just another face in the crowd. We are the ones who see other people for WHO they are, not WHAT they are, or WHAT they can be. We are the ones that wish to know the soul, not just the body. We are the ones that strive to understand our lives, not simply live them. We are the ones who realize the difference between what we CAN do and what we SHOULD do. What we can do is anything that is possible within the physical limitations of existence. What we SHOULD do is the behaviors that our society has deemed acceptable. For example, I CAN go out a but an extra hole in someone's forehead, but I SHOULDN'T do that because it is something that society has deemed wrong. Anyway, back to my original point, it is people like us, people like Leonardo DaVinci, Albert Einstein, and Christopher Columbus, who change the world. It is people like us who have stopped seeing what is, and have started to see what can be.
For those of you who actually understand this and take this to heart, I congratulate you, for those of you who think that I'm writing things such as terrorism, or slander against our country, I pity you. I truly do.
to change yourself is to lose who you truly are, and if you don't know who you are, then who are you?
my mind shattered a long time ago, but talking to ppl who feel the same way i do helps be put the shards back together
i heard about this from a friend and i figured, What the hell, it might be fun. so now im here
