I am the vampire Nicholas de Lenfent. Most of you may remember me from The Vampire Chronicles. I'm sure you're all thinking how could he return? Well let me tell you the world of a vampire is quite entangled with mysteries and secrets. None the less I am back my darlings. I am back indeed. For those of you who do not know me I was born in Auvergne, France, the son of a merchant. I befriended the infamous Lestat de Lioncourt and the two of us traveled to Paris, France. While in Paris Lestat began acting at Renaud's Theater and I played violin for the theater's orchestra. Shortly after we began our lives in Paris, Lestat was taken from me in the middle of the night by Magnus who transformed him into a vampire. Lestat then became estranged from me and our relationship was damaged. I was then abducted by the vampires that lived under Les Innocence and Armand de Lasante. I was tortured almost to the point of death before Lestat rescued me. Lestat then gave me the Dark Gift. I went mad with it. It drove me to the point of insanty. I established the Theatre des Vampires and drove Lestat out of my life. Armand remained with me and tried to help me but I ultimatly ended up throwing myself into a bonfire and burning myself away. Now over two hundred years later I have returned in all my glory. A new vampire ready to begin again.
