Inspired by my last review of
All American Girls, I did a little homework and sough out some other movies that featured the actress Copper Penny, also credited as Carrie Sinclair in some movies. According to IMDB and Wikipedia, she only made about a dozen movies in her career, so I made it a point in trying to find some. I managed to find two so far.
You might ask why I was interested in finding them. My only answer is, I have a thing for red heads, and she is a hot natural red head. That and her role and scene in
All American Girls was almost a teaser, causing me to want more.
Yep. I love me some fire box!
So there you have it. On with the review!
In today’s review, we will be looking at the movie,
Scoundrels, staring Ron Jeremy and Lisa Be, directed by Cecil Howard and written by Anne Wolff. This movie was actually the AVN Movie of the Year for 1984. (

You know it is a quality production when they slow-mo the money shots.
Let’s start with the bad: If you watch porn just to see fucking, this movie will probably disappoint you. There is a plot. The direction and editing a bit more abstract than what you might expect. Women have pubic hair. The focus isn’t merely on the sex, but the story development and the individual life dilemmas and desires of the main characters. If your porn has to be HD-Wide Screen, this one will bother you. It is typical of an older movie with lower video and production quality than modern porn – qualities that are further degraded by the mood lighting and camera angles used in many of the scenes.
Now for the good: If you like to see a variety of actors and actresses involved mainly in one-on-one sex scenes directed to the point of how sex actually happens between people, you will enjoy this. If you like movies to have plots, decent acting and a concept that goes beyond the X-Rated exhibition of the film, you will probably enjoy this.
And don’t be afraid of the Ron Jeremy factor. He is still the Greek Freak in this one, but not the grotesquely hairy and pudgy Greek Freak most of you probably know him as. Ok, just as hairy but it seems like less because there is less of him.
This is the usual response when someone is told they will have a sex scene with Ron Jeremy
Jeremy plays Simon, a Pyschiatrist that is a bit puzzled and disappointed with his life – and in particular his marriage. While providing therapy to a host of people also disgruntled with their lives, marriages and sex lives, he is privy to the most intimated details of his patients’ lives. Details that of course, we get to see scene by scene. Meanwhile, his wife stays at home, providing some special counseling and therapy of her own. With her own disappointment
s regarding her life and marriage fueling her fires, she takes every opportunity to explore her own sexuality and relatively indiscriminately – including an on-going affair with her husband’s best friend Harper, played by George Payne, and her daughter’s boy friend, played by Sean Elliot.
Hey, you share him with your best friend. Why not with your mom, too?
But before you go feeling sorry for Simon in his troubles, despite claiming to having been good and wondering out loud what is wrong with his life, you get the inside scoop on his on-going affair with his secretary Vivian, played by Copper Penny and his frequent visits to a brothel where they know him by name.
You know, I've never had a photography studio session end this way. I must be doing something wrong... *sigh*
Meanwhile, their teenage daughter Francie, played by Tigr, expresses her own concerns about her parents not understanding her and being a bit devoid of actual concern for her, while she experiments with drugs, sex and takes on a job as a prostitute for the above mentioned brothel.
Top things not to say to your hooker after sex:
1. I want my money back
2. This isn't right
3. I want to marry you
4. I don't want any other men touching you
Yeah... this guy said all 4. Needy, creepy bastard.
All the while, Simon is pining for the cashier at the local convenient store and Harper is giving the schnitzel to Victoria on the side as well.
They didn't get overly creative with sex positions, but this one... I think I want to try!
The ending has a surprise twist that only porn screen play writer could write. But it has nothing to do with sex, so if you’re only in it for the fapping, you can stop the movie with about 10 minutes left.
But in the previous 71 minutes of this 81 minute movie, they pack in a lot of plot and a lot of sex in very creative ways.
Mmmm.. yes. Copper Penn.. what? That was it? Goddammit!
If you’re like me and were looking forward to seeing more of Copper Penny in this one, you will be left, once again disappointed and probably with a slight case of blue balls.. or, I don't know, what is the female equivalent to blue-balls? Dry vag? Anyway, her only sex scene is short lived and not very in-depth (no double-entendre intended). Based on that alone, Scoundrels loses some points and for me only gets 3 boners out of 5.
This was not a money shot... never fear.

Bonus image: Tigr. That is a nice ass. I'm going to have to find more of her movies too.
