*we take a step back as the others do the same a vast mist appearing in the middle* It began when the clans were first formed. The elkryn were of the earth, the birds of the sky and the wolves, bears, lions and all other pointed teeth were made of the old elkryn. The elkryn were to remain as they were bothering no one and remaining as food for the pointed teeth. The pointed teeth were to share their kills with the birds. The birds were to find the old and sick elkryn and show the pointed teeth. The pact went on without fault until the bear got greedy then headed over the mountains to the humans their white fur becoming legends and enticed the men to follow them back. Which in turn made the elkryn leave, and caused the others to starve if only for a while. When the elkryn returned the birds had become used to helping the wolves that they did not go back to the bears. The bears in turn returned to mans camp and brought them back to hunt the wolves, but it back fired and caused man to hunt all. The pact has been broken time after time and yet we have fixed it. Should the bears leave the valley again they will not return, if that be the case then the wolves and birds will soon be over run with elkryn.
