Actually, your statement is innaccurate. Paganism is the ORIGINAL religion, nature worship, created by the people of Mesopotamia and later adopted by mid-european culture as it spread westward. Later Christianity stamped it out for a while, saying it was 'evil' (as was evberything else that wasn't Christian or the Church). Later it was recreated as 'Wiccan', or witchcraft, which is a form of paganism, but with the use of magical spells to alter one's day to day life or some such thing (I don't know, so I won't say on the matter).
